Stylish Heating Solutions 101
When we were last in Vancouver we found this beautiful fabric imported from France at Fabrics de France. Thank goodness for Michael's amazing sense of colour and dimension. He calmly navigated through the mountain of gorgeous choices and found the perfect pattern for this curtain that lives at the top of the stairs. It keeps the heat from the wood stove downstairs during the day and allows it to move upstairs in the evening. And it is the perfect complement to the chandelier we found in the Parisian antique store around the corner from Place des Vosges. It is so beautiful I find myself volunteering to run up and down the stairs to release or pull the curtain. Our dear friend Val sewed the curtains for us tout de suite and the tassel comes from a wedding invitation we once received to our friend Tracey's wedding. I love it when a plan comes together!
